Red Tourmaline (Rubellite)

Rubellite or Red Tourmaline has a hardness of 7 to 8. Rubellite’s name is derived from the similarity of its colour to Ruby, although most Rubellite are more pink than red. It is found mainly in Brazil, but good rubellite can also come from Africa, as well as  California and Maine.

Red Tourmaline is an excellent heart healing stone and it goes deeper than other heart stones. It opens one to love at all levels.

Rubellite or Red Tourmaline is recommended for people who have heart ailments, because it carries and emanates the perfected vibrational pattern of the heart. It helps to link the individual heart to the Universal heart which in turn provides the nurturing energy that one can draw on for healing.
